The Geological Society is seeking volunteers to sit on the newly formed Early Career Network Committee.
The Network’s key aims are to:
- Provide support and guidance for professional development across all sectors of geoscience, recognising the varied needs of those in different sectors and career stages
- Translate best practise in increasing early career engagement from comparable organisations to the Geological Society
- Organise event and activities across the UK
- Develop and maintain active online communications
The Network Committee will comprise 4 Officers and 6 elected members, reporting into the Science Committee and the Professional Committee.
The length of service on this committee will usually be three years.
