Students are an important part of the GRSG and we have many student members. We aim to support the activities of students and foster a strong community of student members in a number of ways:

• By promoting student research and endeavors using the newsletter, website and at GRSG meetings via poster sessions and conference presentations
• By providing funds for specific projects via the GRSG student awards
• By providing student members the opportunity to apply for other research bursaries such as through the the Fieldwork Bursary scheme
• By facilitating networking through GRSG student Facebook page and LinkedIn sites
• By getting students involved with the GRSG committee
• By fostering dialogue between students and other GRSG members

For just £7 a year GRSG student members can receive various benefits

• Significant reductions in the fees for attendance at the conference
• Student members can apply for the GRSG student awards
